TESTING
Cooter R-IV School District participates in the following assessments for students:
Missouri Assessment Program (MAP): Designed to measure student academic achievement in grades 3-8.
Stanford Achievement Test (SAT): Designed to measure student academic achievement in grades K-6.
End-of-Course Exams (EOCs): Designed to measure student academic achievement in specific subject areas for grades 8-12. Tests include: Algebra I, Algebra II, Geometry, Biology, American Government, U.S. History, English I, and English II. Students are required to take EOCs to graduate.
Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery (ASVAB): Designed to measure vocational interest and ability and primarily used for Military entrance and Career Exploration. Given to all sophomores and seniors.
COMPASS: Given to sophomores through seniors who wish to take Dual Credit Courses or attend college.
ACT: Given to Juniors for free through the Missouri Department of Education in April of each year and used for College Entrance.
